Laura Niewold - 2025 Swan Ball Co-Chair

A family-oriented retiree with a passion for volunteerism, Laura Niewold has helped organize several fundraising events benefiting a variety of community organizations. In 2025, she co-chaired the Swan Ball, a Nashville-based white tie fundraiser with more than six decades of history, in support of Friends of Warner Parks. Laura Niewold previously co-chaired the 2013 Swan Ball Auction.

In addition to her volunteer work with the Swan Ball, Mrs. Niewold co-chaired the 2022 Conservancy Gala and 2017 Hermitage Gala, the latter held at the Omni Nashville Hotel in celebration of President Andrew Jackson's 250th birthday. She also co-chaired the 2012 Symphony Fashion Show and 2010 La Bella Notte.

Mrs. Niewold is a longtime member of West End Methodist Church and has served on its communion and wedding committees. She also belongs to the Grapevine Garden Club and the Tennessee Chapter of the Colonial Dames of America. She has been married for more than 40 years and has one daughter and three grandchildren.
